Earlier in the Summer of 2020, the megagame design “One Dead Archduke” was advertised on the Megagame Coalition website, which got a lot of WWI and grand diplomacy fans excited. The designer, me (Peter Nixon), has since gotten a full time job and unfortunately has decided to shelve the design for now.
Additionally, there was some doubts about the true feasibility of the design and whether it would actually be “fun” for players. Nevertheless, I think it’s a neat idea and in the spirit of sharing of designs and design thoughts, I’ve attached the initial outline of the design which details the rule set.
